Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Azmi who was born 10th April 1986 in India is an actress who has primarily appeared on Hindi films. Ayesha Takia won the Filmfare Best Debut Award in 2004 for her role as the star of Taarzan The Wonder Car, that marked her first appearance on screen. In the following years, she starred in several popular movies including Paathshaala 2010 Wanted 2009 Salaam-E-Ishq 2007 as well as Socha Na Tha 2010. Her first appearance was an advertisement for the well-known diet drink Complan. In the iconic I'm A Complan Boy, I'm a Complan Girl commercial for Complan, the actress was paired with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. Also, she appeared in the remix track Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin. After she was criticized by her politician father-in-law Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi's position on the punishment of rape victims as well Ayesha displayed her moral courage. Ayesha announced her commitment to veganism in public, when she was a part in PETA's Indian advertisement. In 2006, she was on the list of Most Beautiful Indian Women.
