The choir she sang in was entered into contests for singing and also performed in the community theatre and in high school. Her move from Los Angeles in order to pursue a degree at the University of Southern California and later was Belle her princess role for two and a half years at Disneyland. Butler started shooting The Stranger Within, a psychological thriller that starred Estella Warr, and William Baldwin on Mallorca in Spain in November 2011 She was part of the cast for Los Angeles of Treachery, which starred Michael Biehn. Filming began in Los Angeles on June 12 2012. Butler also co-starred alongside Michael Welch in 2013's horror film The Demented.
